The Blurred Borderlines is a mixed-media video that combines stop-motion animation, zines, found objects, collages of news, and environmental soundscapes. The project explores the artificial nature of borders and how they disrupt the movement of people and elephant herds, highlighting the absurdity of bureaucratic systems.

Inspired by personal experiences at the China-Laos-Myanmar border, the video illustrates how borders, once fluid, became rigid barriers following political shifts and the COVID-19 pandemic. The project emphasizes how border policies, made without regard for local realities, impact both human communities and wildlife, particularly elephant migration routes. 2023
